Airport managers, consultants, service providers, vendor partners, regulators, and legislative representatives will gather for the Massachusetts Airport Management Association Annual Conference, October 19-21, 2025 at the Margaritaville Resort in Hyannis, MA.
Attendees value a robust agenda, so we are seeking proposals from those who are willing to share their knowledge and promote a dialogue among our members. We invite you to submit a proposal to develop and present a session in your area of expertise.
Submitting a proposal is easy:
1. Write a short abstract (300-400 words) that outlines your topic and explains its relevance to the attendees. 2. Include key take-away points. 3. Include anticipated session length. There will be opportunities for 25 – 45-minute sessions throughout the conference. 4. Identify any A/V or other support you need.
The Program Committee is particularly interested in panel and interactive discussions of aviation topics as well as sessions of interest to the entire New England aviation industry. Include, if appropriate, those whom you would invite to be on your panel. Sessions must be insightful and must not imply a sales presentation or promotion of a service. You may include suggested panel members but please note the conference committee will make the final decision regarding all presenters.
Here are just a few of the suggested topics last years' conference attendees want to see covered in 2025.
· Specific ways to engage the community · Case study of a specific airport project · Tips and tricks for writing and securing grants · Techniques and strategies to engage elected officials and community stakeholders · A continued discussion of airport noise and community outreach. · DEI-What's going well? Where can we improve? How do we get there? · Best practices for working with airport neighbors -both supporters and critics. The importance of retaining legal counsel · A Q&A session on grant assurances · Climate resiliency · More on incorporating AI into the airport workplace · ...or any topic to share your expertise within our guidelines.
We recommend that you invite Emerging Leaders and a diverse group of presenters to participate. And we encourage only one person from a presenting firm, airport sponsor or vendor to participate per session.
Submitting a proposal does not guarantee we will assign you a conference session to produce. However, all proposals will receive serious consideration and are greatly appreciated.
